[ DJ Triune ]

Mora Photography recently shot pictures of DJ Triune for his new website and the radio show that he works with (www.kingfmradio.com). The cool things about shooting Disk Jockeys is that many of them have their own event lighting gear, which can be great to use in the photos. In doing the shoot, DJ Triune wanted three main things: 1) to incorporate his colored lights 2) to allow space for the text of his name 3) to look "flashly."  We had a fun time experimenting with some of his event lights and were able to capture exactly what he was looking for. The color of the lights we ended up going with complimented the color theme of his website nicely (www.christstarrent.com) :
Here is the original shot, with his event lights in the back:

The way the lights turned out created a perfect pocket to place his text:
Then we went for the "flashy" shot:

[ Happy 1st Birthday Riley Z ]

Over the weekend we had a chance to shoot photos of one of the cutest little boys, Riley Zephyr. His parents Kari and Shane asked us to shoot photos for Riley's 1st birthday. Most would find the task of shooting a toddler difficult; however, Riley was easy to work with and we were able to capture some adorable photos. Take a look:

[ Wedding Whimsy ]

We were excited to see some of our work published in the Los Angeles Times recently in an article called "Wedding Whimsy." The article is about couples that choose to add unique and playful elements to their weddings. Our friends Joe and Monet chose to wear hand-painted Converse shoes during their wedding celebration. Here is the article along with a couple original pictures of the shoes:
